Finance and fro m the office of the Chief commissioner of Income
Tax Department Dehradun, has provided a
certificate of sub
section 2 of section 17 of Income Tax Act, of 1961 regarding for
grant of approval of our hospital
M/S Krishna Hospital &
Research Centre, 3-136, Guru Nanak Pura, Haldwani,
for the purpose
of the said sub-clause. Any sum paid by the employer in
respect
of any expenditure actually incurred by the employee for the
purpose of medical treatment of the specified disease or
ailments mentioned in Rule 3A(2) of Income Tax Rules, 1962 on
account of treatment of an employee or any member of the family
of the employee in the said hospital shall not be treated as a
perquisite for the purpose of section 15,16 & 17 of the Income
Tax Act, 1961 and such sum
shall be exempt from income tax in the hands of employee. The
employer will not be liable to deduct tax under section 192 in
respect of such sum. |
