Vikram,
an enthu siastic cook, conjures up a variety of Indian,
European and Oriental meals that one would least expect
to find in so remote a mountain retreat. Home-baked
bread accompanies freshly filtered coffee for breakfast.
The Estate's fruit orchards ensure an abundant supply
of home-made jams and deserts for the guests.
Idyllic
for every nature lover, Sitla Estate is also very child
friendly. During the day, there is lots of space for
children to romp around and go exploring. Also available
is a table-tennis table and badminton rackets. We also
have scores of baby rabbits and they are very welcome to
help us fe ed
them. In the evening we have a variety of indoor games
to keep them entertained.
The
Estate is located in the Kumaon Himalayas, which were
home to the legendary hunter-turned-conservationist Jim
Corbett, whose many books continue to fascinate readers.
