The terminus
of the Northern Railway, directly connected with Bareilly,
Agra, Luckhnow, Delhi ande Kolkata; Kathgodam at the foot
of the hill 5 km from Haldwani, is the connecting town
with Nainital, 35 kilometres away by a fine motor road. In
about 60 minutes the bus or car parks on the very edge of
the wide expanse of limpid green that stretches before,
surrounded by towering summits.
